Sheetz moves 838 stores off VMware

Sheetz is migrating 838 convenience stores from VMware to StorMagic SvHCI, moving about 11,000 VMs. The chain had used VMware on Dell servers since 2019. Scott Robertson, Sheetz infrastructure manager, cited Broadcom creating too much uncertainty as the reason for the switch.
