India issues notice to Meta over CSAM ads

India's Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology issued a notice to Meta over child sexual abuse material appearing in paid Instagram ads. The ministry ordered Instagram to remove the ads and content immediately and explain how they were approved. Separately, former Meta AI chief Yann LeCun's startup AMI Labs is building world models that reason about cause and effect.
