Head Mare hackers exploited unpatched TrueConf Server flaws to replace client installers with backdoors PhantomCore and PhantomGraph. Kaspersky discovered the attacks in July, targeting Russian organizations. The vendor fixed the flaws in versions 5.3.9, 5.4.9, and 5.5.5, released on June 18.
