Xpeng Starts Solid-State Battery Production

Xpeng began small-batch production of solid-state batteries for its Iron humanoid robot on September 8. The Iron robot completed final assembly and walked off the line on its own. Mass production targets the end of 2026, with formal deliveries planned for 2027 in China and overseas.
