Xpeng Iron Robot Batteries Enter Small-Batch Production

Xpeng vice president Gu Jie announced on Wednesday that solid-state batteries for the Iron humanoid robot have entered small-batch production. The company plans to begin mass production by the end of 2026, with commercial deployment in stores and other settings starting in 2027.
