XPeng Starts Small-Batch Solid-State Battery Production

XPeng vice president Gu Jie announced at the SAE-China Congress on October 28 that the solid-state battery for its IRON humanoid robot has entered small-batch production. The company plans mass production by the end of 2026 and deliveries in the first half of 2027 for commercial settings like shopping malls and XPeng stores before expanding to industrial and home use.
