Cloudflare Launches Auto Router to Cut AI Costs

Cloudflare released Auto Router in public beta through AI Gateway, letting developers set model to cloudflare/auto so each request routes to a capable-enough model automatically. Internal testing showed up to 30 percent cost savings versus frontier-only models, with similar performance at 80 percent of Sol's cost and 35 percent of Opus's.
