Cloudflare targets 2029 for full post-quantum security. ML-DSA is standardized but has large signatures and limited tricks. NIST advanced nine signature schemes to a third round, but none will be ready in time for the initial migration. ML-KEM encryption already secures most Cloudflare traffic against harvest-now-decrypt-later attacks.
