AI could flood zero-day vulnerabilities

CrowdStrike president Mike Sentonas warns that AI systems capable of rapidly finding software bugs could exponentially increase zero-day vulnerabilities. Over 100 new vulnerabilities are disclosed daily. AI will drastically reduce the time between a flaw existing and its exploitation, overwhelming organizations that cannot patch quickly without risking outages.
