Tesla, Renault, Skoda gain EV share in Europe

Tesla, Skoda, Renault, and Chinese brands increased European battery-electric vehicle sales in May, while the Volkswagen ID7, Kia EV3, and BMW i4 lost ground. BEV sales rose 39 percent to 261,933, accounting for an estimated 23.2 percent of the market. The Tesla Model Y led with 17,183 sales, up 68 percent.
