Egypt partners with China's ROX Motor for local EV production

Egypt signed an agreement with Chinese automaker ROX Motor and Ezz El Arab El Sewedy Industrial Investment Group to assemble range-extended electric vehicles locally. The joint venture supports Egypt's Automotive Industry Development Programme, which targets annual domestic production of 100,000 vehicles by 2030.
