Apple withheld Siri AI from the EU after regulators rejected an 18-month DMA exemption request. EU spokesperson Thomas Regnier stated nothing in the DMA prevented Apple from introducing new products, only that rivals must get interoperability access. Apple claims the EU refused to negotiate.
