Android backup to PC excludes Samsung devices

Google is developing automatic cloud-free backup from Android phones to Windows PCs via Wi-Fi. The feature, found in the latest Google Play Services app, explicitly states Samsung phones are not supported. Samsung has its own Smart Switch app with extensive backup options, though it lacks automatic backups. Users activate the feature through the Quick Share app on Windows.
