OpenAI Plans Robot Data Centers

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman states the company will use AI-controlled robots to build data centers and chip factories. He estimates building one gigawatt of capacity costs $70bn but hopes to reduce this to $20bn. Altman told John Collison on Thursday that self-replicating centers are within grasp.
