Tiny London startup beats AMD on AMD hardware

Spectral Compute, a London startup founded in 2018 by four engineers, built a CUDA compiler that reportedly outperforms AMD's own tools on AMD hardware. The effort stemmed from frustration with Nvidia GPU costs and poor alternative compiler performance.
