A Semafor investigation using Pangram found Dartmouth provost David Schnell's Washington Post column was 100% AI-written. Dartmouth then reviewed his work: pre-2022 writings tested 100% human, while nine 2025 pieces averaged 96% AI-written. His Sept. 18 email to The Dartmouth also tested 100% AI-written.
