Honda is in final negotiations to build an eighth North American assembly plant in Ohio, costing up to $2.5 billion and starting production by 2030. The hybrid-focused factory would support Honda's plan for 15 new models by 2030, including a three-row Acura XL and Honda Pilot XXL, as its existing plants run near 90 percent capacity.
