The U.S. Department of Justice arrested Abdulrahman Alfozan, a 35-year-old Saudi OpenAI engineer, on October 9 for allegedly planting a hidden recording device. The device, found on September 30, was concealed in toilet paper behind a television in an executive conference room. If convicted, Alfozan faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
