Ethereum set for upcoming protocol upgrade

Ethereum will implement a new consensus upgrade later this year. The change aims to improve transaction finality and reduce network latency. Validators will experience lower energy consumption and increased block confirmation speed. The upgrade does not include new ETH token issuance or price predictions.
