A Journal of Consumer Psychology study found paper calendar users developed higher-quality plans and completed them more often than mobile calendar users. The advantage came from paper's broad, simultaneous view of time. Mobile users who received a wide-perspective mode also improved their planning. Paper provides spatial persistence that screens cannot reproduce.
