Ford Opens Preorders for Fathom EV Pickup

Ford opened a preorder invite list for its Fathom electric pickup, priced under $30,000, with public preorders opening in early 2027. The vehicle uses lithium iron phosphate batteries and includes BlueCruise hardware. CEO Jim Farley acknowledged the launch challenge at the 2026 Automotive News Congress. Deliveries are set for fall 2027.
