Google open-sources WeatherNext hurricane AI model

Google open-sourced WeatherNext, an AI model trained on nearly 20 terabytes of global atmospheric data that predicts cyclone track and intensity in a single 15-day forecast generated in under a minute on a TPU. The National Hurricane Center, UK Met Office, and other agencies contributed to its development.
