ClickHouse Managed Postgres runs a fleet of PgBouncer processes bound to the same port with so_reuseport, scaling throughput from 87k to 336k transactions per second on a 16-vCPU instance. Peering forwards cancel requests to the correct process. The fleet uses 8 cores versus one core for a single process.
