XMG said DDR5 SO-DIMM prices have risen sixfold since July 2025 and expects RAM shortages through 2027. The gaming laptop maker raised prices by up to $342 on its models, citing higher costs for RAM, SSDs, PCBs, CPUs, and graphics cards, compounded by Middle East conflict raising freight and insurance costs.
