Google DeepMind launches SL2T sign language AI on Pixel 11

Google DeepMind launched SL2T, a multilingual sign-language-to-text model debuting on the Pixel 11 in Gboard and Live Transcribe. Initially translating American Sign Language to English, SL2T was trained on over 100,000 hours of data spanning 50 languages and achieved a 70 BLEURT score on FLEURS-ASL.
