Japan's Financial Services Agency and National Police Agency asked crypto exchanges to restrict withdrawals after fiat deposits, require pre-registered addresses, and impose waiting periods on new addresses. The non-binding request targets scams transferring fraudulent funds to exchange accounts. It was submitted to the Japan Virtual and Crypto Assets Exchange Association.
