Cribl buys AI-native threat detection engineering startup CardinalOps

Cribl acquired CardinalOps for an undisclosed price to add AI-native detection engineering capabilities. The technology maps security controls against adversary behavior, automates detection tasks, and helps eliminate coverage gaps. Cribl plans to integrate CardinalOps into its telemetry platform to help enterprises detect sophisticated threats across SIEM, data lake, and XDR systems.
