Mercedes Gets First Access to ProLogium Gen4 Solid-State Cells

Mercedes-Benz signed a joint test agreement with ProLogium on Thursday, securing priority access to its Gen4 solid-state battery cells. Mercedes will test the cells' electric, thermal and safety performance at external institutes. ProLogium claims up to 400 Wh/kg energy density and 5% to 80% charging in 6.4 minutes. Mercedes targets its first solid-state EV by 2030.
