France blocks Tesla FSD, wants EU approval

France will not authorize Tesla's Full Self-Driving (Supervised) system as it currently stands. Transport Minister Philippe Tabarot cited safety issues: the system allows speeding and fails to keep drivers attentive in cities. France wants EU-wide sign-off rather than accepting the Netherlands' national approval.
