BMW falls below previous year's battery-electric vehicle sales

BMW sold 204,295 battery-electric vehicles in the first half of the year, a 7.4% decline from the first half of 2025. The second quarter saw a 5.2% increase to 116,807 BEVs, driven by the new BMW iX3 in Europe. BEVs made up 17.6% of total BMW passenger car sales.
