A new macOS malware called Gaslight embeds 38 fake error messages to confuse AI-assisted analysis tools. The Rust binary contains prompt injection strings and fake debugging data designed to make AI tools abort or truncate analysis. SentinelOne attributes the malware with high confidence to a North Korean-linked threat actor.
