Hackers breached South Korea diplomat training system for 9 months

Unidentified hackers compromised the Korea National Diplomatic Academy's e-learning platform from April 2025 to February 2026, stealing IDs, names, emails, and encrypted passwords of trainees. The attackers exploited a zero-day vulnerability and misconfigured security settings. The ministry shut down the system and has not restored it.
