Battle for the agentic client and AI back end

The real fight in agentic AI is not Snowflake versus Databricks but who owns the intelligent client and the AI back end. The new client includes Snowflake CoWork, Databricks Genie, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, OpenAI ChatGPT, and Anthropic Claude. These require a System of Intelligence back end that models enterprise data, business rules, and tacit knowledge. Snowflake competes with Microsoft, Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, and Celonis.
