Magnitude Biosciences Raises £1.3M for Drug Discovery

Durham University spinout Magnitude Biosciences has raised £1.3 million to scale its drug discovery platform and expand work with pharmaceutical companies. The company's VivoScan platform uses C. elegans nematode worms combined with imaging, machine learning, AI, automation, and robotics to screen potential drug candidates in whole organisms, aiming to accelerate the process for pharma and biotech firms.
