Google has informed Indian developers selling to international users that they must complete KYC verification through BillDesk. This requirement is to comply with the Reserve Bank of India's Payment Aggregator, Cross Border framework, which regulates online cross-border payments. Developers who began monetising by December 2025 have until March 15, 2027, to complete verification, after which their international sales will be paused.
