BMW's first electric iX5 60 xDrive will feature a 144 kWh battery in North America and 141 kWh in Europe, the largest ever in a BMW EV. It uses sixth-generation eDrive with 800V architecture and supports 400 kW charging. The iX5 rides on an updated CLAR platform, not the Neue Klasse dedicated EV platform.
