Google Tests AI Shopping on Flipkart

Google is testing in-app purchases from Walmart-owned Flipkart inside Gemini and AI Mode for some users in India. Select Flipkart listings show a Buy button that opens a Flipkart checkout flow within Google's AI interface. The test could go live before Big Billion Days, which begins October 9th. Commercial terms and payment handling remain undisclosed.
