Microsoft Pledges $10B Middle East Expansion

Microsoft will spend over $10 billion across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait through 2030, expanding cloud and AI infrastructure, cybersecurity and education. A further $400 million goes to subsea and terrestrial cables. The company says it will upskill 4.2 million people, about 8% of the four countries' combined populations.
