Apple overhauled Image Playground with a new generative model on Private Cloud Compute that creates photorealistic images. The app adds photo-based editing via text or touch gestures, and outputs to Lock Screen wallpapers and Contact Posters. All AI images carry a hidden SynthID watermark. Developers get access through the Image Playground API.
