Apple announced at WWDC 2026 that the Photos app is getting AI editing features powered by Apple Intelligence. A new Reframe tool lets users adjust perspective and fill gaps with generative models. The Extend tool expands images without cropping. The Cleanup tool also receives an upgrade for better distraction removal.
