2027 Porsche Taycan Adds Simulated Shifts, Bigger Battery

Porsche revealed the 2027 Taycan lineup with a larger standard battery, simulated shifting via paddle shifters, and an updated Electric Sport Sound. Every Taycan now includes the previously optional 97.0-kWh Performance Battery Plus, raising the base price to $114,250. The new E-Shift mode simulates an eight-speed gearbox with a virtual rev limiter.
