OpenAI Gives Ukraine Daybreak Cyber Access

OpenAI will give Ukraine's government access to its Daybreak program to defend civilian infrastructure, working with the Ministry of Digital Transformation. The announcement came at the UN General Assembly. Ukraine's CERT-UA handled nearly 6,000 cyber incidents in 2025, including attacks on hospitals, energy and telecoms. OpenAI has already given similar access to France, Germany, Poland and ENISA.
