This new factory just commercialized jet fuel made from CO2

Twelve opened AirPlant One in Washington State, converting CO2 into jet fuel at commercial scale. The fuel, branded E-Jet, is chemically identical to conventional jet fuel and can be blended up to 50% for current aircraft. Alaska Airlines will use it once carbon intensity targets are met.
