Microsoft released Azure Linux 4 as downloadable ISO files for local VM testing. The Fedora-derived server distro remains in preview and should not be deployed in production. It uses kernel 6.18 and systemd 258.4, with configuration in TOML files. Only x86-64 and Arm64 images are available.
