Bombay HC protects Preity Zinta from AI deepfakes

The Bombay High Court granted Preity Zinta an ad interim injunction against Google, X, Meta, and AI platforms over deepfakes, chatbot personas, and merchandise misusing her name, image, and voice. Justice Madhav J. Jamdar ordered the platforms to block roughly 275 infringing URLs within 72 hours.
