Mistral released open weights for its 1 trillion-parameter Large 4 model on Hugging Face. The Paris-based company trained it on 3,800 Nvidia Grace Blackwell GPUs in Europe, drawing about 10 megawatts. CEO Arthur Mensch noted Mistral raised roughly $6 billion in three years, while rivals raised hundreds of billions. The model scored 41% on Terminal-Bench 4.0 and 79% on CyberGym-E2E.
