Northrop Grumman launches satellite jetpack mission

Northrop Grumman launched a two-armed space robot to attach life-extending jetpacks to aging satellites. The mission robotic vehicle and three electric-propelled jetpacks will spend a year reaching geosynchronous orbit 22,300 miles up. The robot will attach jetpacks to satellites for SES and Optus, saving millions in replacement costs.
