London Facial Recognition Trial Finds Zero Suspects

British Transport Police ran 18 live facial recognition deployments at London railway stations from February to July, scanning over half a million faces at a cost of about £321,000. The trial produced one alert, a mistaken identity, and no arrests. BTP will extend testing for four months, adding the London Underground with Transport for London's support.
