Google's Tensor G6 chip will be the first mass-produced 2nm smartphone chip, using TSMC's 2nm process. It will power the Pixel 11 series launching in August 2026, roughly a month before Apple's iPhone 18 Pro lineup. This breaks Apple's tradition of being TSMC's first customer for each new process.
