Sodium-ion truck battery passes 15,000 km cold-weather test

FAW Jiefang and Hina Battery completed a seven-month, 15,000 km test of a 339 kWh sodium-ion battery in a J6P electric truck. The battery retained over 90% capacity at -40°C, charges fully in 20-25 minutes, and withstands over 8,000 fast-charging cycles, addressing lithium-ion winter range loss.
